Her main squad is a Mawile that can Mega Evolve, but I've loved Mawile since Gen 3, Aegislash, Volcarona, Frosmoth, Hydreigon and I am currently trying to come up with a loree reason for Golisopod being pushed onto the backup team and replaced with a Ceruledge.

This looks like a fun thread, I'll post this OC I drew the other day then. I know it's kind of shitty, but it's actually the best thing I've drawn so far.
Summer here is a (primarily) fighting type trainer who seeks to improve both herself and her Pokemon through fighting. Travels all over to attend fighting tournaments. Wakes up early in the morning every day and does laps. 16-18 yo, I haven't chosen yet.
Her team is Emboar, Hariyama, Pangoro, Buzzwole, Tsareena, Seismitoad.
If she looks familiar, that's probably because she's meant to resemble characters like Sakura Igawa, Nora from RWBY, and one of the player character sprites from Pokemon Prism.

Cool OC. decided to make a trainer card for him if you don't mind. Pokemon choices mainly: poison types, no repeating type combos, and "natural" toxins found in animals and plants rather than pollution or industrial waste (so no Muk or Garbordor).. Also gave him at least one unova mon and one alola mon due to his backstory.

She always wanted to when she got a Mawile for her 8th birthday she is currently 15 from her rich folk parents but she never really had a DIRECTION. She didn't want to take the plain jane Pokemon League route, she hated how it felt like it was to outright baby and coddle weaker Trainers but she lacked a direction to take her first major step towards. But being a girl raised in Castelia City she eventually had a run-in with Team Plasma and decided that after running them out of town she'd let the first major leg of her Pokemon Adventure be a campaign against Team Plasma. Otherwise all she cared about was getting stronger, improving and staking her claim without having her hand held by the Pokemon League. Taking down Team Plasma since this follows more of a Pokemon Generations plot line as far as events in Unova are concerned, which left the spot to spearhead going against Team Plasma rather open was simply self-affirmation that she was genuinely as powerful as she thought she was.

From there the motive was simply that actual PHYSICAL power means absolute freedom and never having to live under the thumb of someone else in her mind. So she wants to keep getting stronger so she can always be free to do as she pleases and go on any sort of adventure she wants or can come across, living to her own whims based on what pleases or displeases her.

Destroying Team Plasma WAS the objective. A "worthy first step" into a lifelong journey, a test fit to decide if she could live up to her own ideals or not. A test if she was powerful enough to go out into the world and be free of it's chains and live solely as she pleased. And now she just wanders the world learning things, getting stronger and ending up in all sorts of campaigns against groups similar to Team Plasma and to basically punch demigod Pokemon in the face and surpass even THEM simply because she LIVES for such chances to improve and test herself, for the sheer excitement and live the most fulfilling life humanly possible because at the end of the day the meaning of life is just to have as many experiences as whatever power you have will allow you to. Or at least that's what it is in her mind. Toppling the ENTIRETY of the Pokemon League without ever having her hand held by it so she can spit in it's face, toss the crown aside and say it's all beneath her when she wins it all and stake her claim above even the Pokemon League and it's hierarchy is on the bucket list but until then she's looking for anyother exciting thing she can just to push herself harder and for the fun of it.

Gym Leader sprite I did for an attempted fan adaptation of my PTU game (got bored after messing up a single line of code).
This was my favorite, she is a Psychic Stock Broker named Daq Nas.
She is a blind seer, but rather than doing prophecies or anything, she used it for wanton greed. She uses Telekinesis other money to form things, serving as part of her gym puzzle.

Why Dragon type Pokémon have the type plastered, but the Pokémon doesn't look like a dragon.

Kayda was the starting point, then Rioko appeared as the pokefan who likes goofy dragonmons, then Faye as a fairy fan.
I don't remember much after that, I remember lots of OCs being done, but then one appeared, and that one kind of derailed the thread. After that Kayda was an occasional sight, next to the edgyverse thread.

Now that would be interesting. Go to a casino looking place, make bets on battle, and you get a random trainer.
It can go from simple easy exp fodder (bug trainers or pokekids) all the way to almost unfair matches (aces or gym leaders with BF focused teams).

Water/poison

Living off the Algae that form in the Scandi Fjords, these gray Whishwashi have developed a film that gives off a putrid odor, akin to salty, rotting flesh. Parts of its body have seem to have become translucent, giving the illusion that it’s decomposing.

It’s a bit of an acquired taste, obviously, but some people love the smell.

It’s not advised to use them as bait, because the film lingers

A study on the Fjord Algae has shown that it does not affect any other Pokemon or human. But the Wishiwashi just love to eat it like they’re at a Vegas Buffet

I feel the whole "I snapped and killed Ghetsis" is a bit edgy, but I like the whole "I AM A SUPER GAL!!" and basically cut a giant airship in half. That sounds awesome.
Also, a trainer who just goes around, beating anybody who is stronger, and then rise up is a good reason as any. She would totally go to places like the subway or the Battle Frontier. Hell, I bet she would go to Orre or those Wii tournament exclusives just to fight the entire thing, and when someone like Scott gets close and says "want to join us?", she is like "nah, this was easy. I'll see if I find another championship". I bet her family was worried she would be homeless or in necesity for a long time, just to find out fame and sponsors allow her a quite cushy life.

Snapped and killed Ghetsis is part of my token "1-2 non-character defining but still outright edgy things allowed" rule cause I also wanted her to have a Berserker motif. And said "snap" and going into a furious Mega Evolution RAGE was meant to be her first major thing for both said motif and her development and also my asspull method of clapping Kyurem without stupid shit like "le power of friendship but in the corniest way possible" or having her use a Legendary Pokemon of her own. Zekrom kinda offered but she turned it down. Black dragon is proud of the little idealist.

More like had her Magnezone use every ounce of power it had to strike it with an insane lightning attack that skewered the whole thing and caused it to split apart on it's own from there due to a massive structural integrity rupturing hole put through the center of the airship.

She kinda does yeah but some of them in my own headcanons don't allow her to participate because her fighting style is too unhinged and Broly-type berserk. But what ones she DOES participate in has gotten her a fair bit of acclaim from hardier trainer archetypes like Black Belts, Dragon Tamers and so on while some call her a "Battle Angel" due to how dedicated she is to battling and how she doesn't hold back at all but much to her dismay the Angel part is owed also partially to her cute face and that she's a cute little 4 foot tall gremlin. She's been turning away sponsors though cause a lot of them are super restrictive. She's also confident in her abilities but she's humble too in that she makes it a point to avoid outright boasting.

I ran out of space in my last post but her name is Emily Matcha but ever since she got noticed by the public at large, she only calls herself Tiel and it's what most people know her as because she wants to keep people she steps on the toes of from knowing of any family of her's they can target and also because while her parents are proud of her as a Trainer she doesn't want people knowing she came from a rich family and to have any pre-conceptions based on that. She also didn't want gold digging types coming to her for her family's money.

Art of an OC of mine I made for a now-on-hiatus-continuously-being-revised fanfic. Based on the properties, I made this art of him last year.

I thought of his "signature" Pokemon and worked with the colours of his two main mons. I even have a Shiny variation of the outfit to emulate Limit Broken Sygna suits, it's very gloriously green.
