This is the winner. How did this happen? Did someone at GF design it and then higher upside didn't want it so they sabotaged it so it wouldn't return since noone used it, or were they pressured by fans and sabotaged it so they could claim noone used it. It is EXTREMELY difficult to think if a scenario this wasn't sabotaged.

We actually have color data on 5 non-avian dinosaurs due to fossilized integument complete with melanosomes. All are some sort of brown to tan and countershaded (lighter on the underside). One has a very light belly and dark brown flesh around it's cloaca.

Being able to fly away from predators and eating things that don't run away makes striking coloration less biologically risky for birds than it would have been for the ground dwelling dinosaurs.
