SHITLOAD of also dont live in wild environment but in domesticate one where they dont need a very succint body anatomy and design to adhere to survival rules. They are being fed and cared for.
You know there is a popular theory that over last few thousands years some species of the domesticated dogs evolved to mimic something akin to a "smile" just purely because of their living condition - over the time, they -- evolution -- saw that some specific but limited social behaviors/grimaces incite a "positive reaction" (as in better life conditions) in the "environment" (as in: human society) and so it doubled down on it.
Same logic here, but multiply it by 100000000000000000 and Im not joking - Pokemon evolution is INSTANT. It IMMEDIATELLY applies all the positive experience of the specie for the Evolution. If humans love their bird pokemon
sexually (with a mutual response from the pokemon ofc) then it would make sense to have evolutionary body changes that accommodate this need.
You need to stop thinking about evolution in our slow-ass millenia terms and start thinking incredible short-term - then it makes sense
