Who is getting Armarogue? Its the counterpart to Ceruledge so its trainer should be somebody with connection to Amethio. Friede has rivalry with Amethio but I prefer that guy to be in the background as much as possible. He suppose to guide the protagonist, not become the protagonist himself. Roy already has a Fuecoco that wants to be as strong as Charizard so him catching a Charcadet might mess with Fuecoco's own development. Liko lacks the motivation and drive to win to raise a Charcadet into a powerful Armarogue as her own Sprigatito can't live up to its full potential due to Liko's lack of drive. Which leaves Mela who does have an Armarogue in the game but the possibility of any Team Star member appearing on Anipoke is slim. Another possibility is Gibron having an Armarogue as his ace since he is the only member of The Explorer that yet to make an actual appearance.

Terapagos is an attention rival, but there's still no real combat rival for the cat. Fuecoco is too weak and lax for that, especially if Roy ends up being a performer like some anons are speculating. A Charcadet not only taking Liko's attention, but also overpowering the cat would work well.

Because Liko has no interest in combat or even the drive for winning a fight which was confirmed on Kabu episode. The same episode had Liko wanting to find other way to do things without battling.

Ashnime choose Pokémon based on what kind of characters they can be for the show. I imagine Charcabet being a competitive proud feisty child with temper tantrums who join the MC to become stronger and tends to use Ember on its trainer's face and later evolves into a mature Armarogue.

Seriously what happened to this Serena? For first two episode she was a perfectly believable girl but then she joined the main cast and 360 degree change into a doormat who exists to simp over the protagonist. Worst part is that the animators decided to shove this doormat archetype on three other girls to replicate Serena's popularity despite it ruined Serena's own character.
Serena was destined to be popular regardless her personality due to being an attractive blonde haired girl with a curvy figure and direct crush on Ash. It won't work with other girls like Lillie, Koharu and Liko since Lillie is destined to remained flat and not an abused victim like her game counterparts while Koharu and Liko aren't blonde and has no crush on Ash. Why can't animators understand this?

XY Ash was also more similar to SM Ash at the beginning of XY series however XYfags still haven't figured it out due to Ash's clothes and art style.

Gonna be honest, I don't think Dawn(anime) would survive in Hisui long enough for Volo to gain an interest in her. She'd either die sometime during her second expedition, or return a complete failure and never gain his interest as a result.

>The Legendary Heroes cries because they miss Lucius and join RVT
>The Explorer start making trouble and RVT run away from them.
This supposed to replace Gym Battles, Pokémon Contest and PMC? Seriously? SERIOUSLY? It would have been more exciting if the MC actually has to battle and defeat them to make them join the group. Basically proving themselves stronger than Lucius to use Lucius's pokemon. Unfortunately Liko and Roy are so underleveled that they need five adults to do all the battling for them. Also if any trainer going to defeat Black Rayquaza than it has to be Ash or other champion, not an EMO teenager or random kid with chosen one status.

After 26 years I am bored of cheaply written gym battles that are nerfed to promote Ash and I am bored of Ash always cheating.
I'd rather have no gym battles at all than watch somebody freaking cheat them. At least the Explorers don't exist in the games so it is not insulting to the source canon like how Ash completely ruined the lore in JN and SM to be promoted.

Does anything even happen in this show? I keep looking into some discussion surrounding it and it's people complaining that Liko and particularly Roy don't do anything and Captain Pikachu saves the day every time or whatever.
