I watched the Hoenn season and remember liking the legends of Groudon and Kyogre and was exciting for the Team Magma and Aqua plot.
I remember commercials for Ruby and Sapphire on TV.
It was a magazine for another franchise where I saw a commercial for Pokemon I think it was the Diamon and Pearl TCG. It depicted Dialga and Palkia. It got me interested. I've never heard about these Pokemon before but somehow I knew they were legendary Pokemon. Then I searched for legendary Pokemon. At first I wasn't interested in the games but I got more and more interestee and eventually got a DS and then got Diamond.
That was in 2006 or 2007. And then I played Pokemon games opposite of the release order. First I got Emerald after Diamond then I got a Gameboy Color with Crystal (that was before Heartgold and Soulsilver) then also Pokemon Yellow. I also played PMD Time before I played PMD Red.
