For everyone else it's the same crap that has created Early Access the reputation it has of being a factory of shovelware.
And trust me, I know this, I bought Palworld, it's also the first game I played on the Steam Deck that I haven't been able to make it maintain at least 30 FPS, and I've played games like RDR2, Arkham Knight, Assassins Creed Unity, Stalker Anomaly, and even emulated Mario Kart 8, and all of them both look and run better.
I don't know about the gameplay, it probably wouldn't have the whole ordeal of butchering the Pokemons, but otherwise what the other anon said it's true, this is exactly how a Pokemon game for PC made by Game Freak would look and run.
