Every passing car, every person in the grocery store, the people in cafes and theaters with their glassed-over, disengaged stare betraying there's no one home inside, every voice that answers a phone. It's so tiring to be surrounded by lazy, dumb people who have to be ugly on top of all other offenses. It's just tiring.
