His initial post said that it was "$30 dlc" then he responded with "w-well events are basically DLC" as if he just misspoke. Then, when I pointed out that the event was free, hence killing his $30 claim, he shut down and used a strawman.

You can get all the gen 4 and 5 events without cheating. Just change your network's DNS and you can get the mystery gifts.

Victini is 100% legit because the game itself still generates the encounter at the end of the day, which is probably why they didn't do item based events anymore
