Hmmm would be interesting if we got to see him, I don't know far from when Gen 6 was set it's gonna be. Maybe he'll be reformed, I do remember some post game line that gave me cope that he was still alive after the cave in. Something like 'this will him lysadre something to hope for'. Which is present tense.. as opposed to past tense if he was dead

I like to think mines is a neat freak when it comes to his hygiene, not because he cares about germs but he cares about keeping his outside image perfect to a fault. He doesnt want to be caught dead with messy hair, or broken nails etc. His surroundings are probably cluttered with books and stuff though.

I fear GF fed us too good with Volo, I kind of expect a female villain but who knows. As long as everyone eats well, I won't be disappointed.

EZ predictables is Lysandre's bloodline plays key role, would be kind of cool if Sycamore's ancestor actually wasn't research based but something else, maybe one of the first to battle proper or something in Kalos, but im fine too with them being a professor, and i fully expect a furfrou new form(s)

i would LOVE for his ancestor to be a villain and flipflop from PLA honestly. Because Sycamore is such a strangely written character. I worry they'll make them too much of a moral grey though instead of full on evil, or maybe theyre the "sort of villain" and then we get a volo type to be the actual villain.

Hmm, personally, now that I think about it, my wish would probably be for both Lysandre and Sycamore ancestors to be the villains, though I like morally gray villains so it'd be a plus for me. Oh, maybe with Sycamore being the real brain behind it and Lysandre feeling more tied by feelings, kind of like the Guzma-Lusamine relationship.

Making Sycamore's ancestor a villain would be a nice shout to the XY cut content where he was allegedly the bad guy. I personally think they won't get genderbent and I think the whole "Team leader... but a girl!?!!" was done with Cyrus so they probably won't do it again... that's me coping though.

He definitely is full of regret and possibly even shame... he always seems like he's so heartbroken that he failed Lysandre. Ignored him, failed him as a mentor and a man Lysandre highly respects... he definitely realizes the gravity of his failure but only after Lysandre blew a crater in Geosenge and dropped 10 stories on his own head. Even in the wish fulfillment land that is PMEX, where Lysandre is just alive, Sycamore is still so sad, and so desperate to course-correct. I was always afraid of how they'd be portrayed in PMEX(and Kalos in general tbqh)before they were added but I was pleasantly surprised, they really understood the characters and their appeal... so I hope that the new game understands that too.

all of this to say yes! I love seeing Sycamore miserable and broken down! I think it's because he looks so happy, always putting on a persona for the kids, but you just know he's sad and worried and guilty inside.

I didn't know both Lysandres were going to be in the gacha next month, I'm going to have to roll to max SS Lysandre! If you're lucky you'll be able to get both! It's worth it unless you were planning on 5/5ing Yev(it's a very decent unit). I'm really happy Lysandre got an alternate costume... he looks so cute! I would be coping with you, anon. But it actually seems more likely that it's set in the past around the same time as PLA, which is what's making me think that the twins could have ended up in the same situation in different regions (see >>55484308) so (hopefully) unlikely to see any descendents.

Masters is mobile. I can only play mobile games so much. With actual remakes then you get more hype which means more art and music and honestly ORAS was the last time I played a Pokemon game with thousands of hours put into it. Masters is nice but it doesnt satisfy me like a remake would.

A mix, I don't find "extreme twinks" hot (they're cute though), but I am also not into big buff older men.

I like them fit but not too buff, looking no older than around Sycamore's appearance visually. I also tend to prefer characters that lean towards the quiet/smart/gentlemanly type rather than sporty and rough ones.
