On the other hand, combined with the music it reflects what an average (post-)Soviet guy felt deep in his soul, no wonder it's still so popular (not so much in Ukraine, you can guess why).
Also, did you know Tsoi was once a member of the band Aвтoмaтичecкиe Удoвлeтвopитeли (Automatic Pleasurers)? And yes, the songs were just like the band's name.
