I found them enjoyable except for being too easy. If you can ramp up the difficulty to your preference they would be more enjoyable. Since others mentioned it in this thread, I feel the same about ORAS.

Gen 6 is really weird. Unfortunately you have one month to experience the PSS and the "post-game" of it, which is just the multiplayer but can be really good since it is the first game in the series where you can easily get perfect Pokemon. I recommend playing it if you can drop everything else and spend the month in Kalos.
