What is religion like in the Pokémon world? Are the PokeJapan regions basically just Shinto and Buddhist? I know that Gen 1 had a censored Buddhism reference, implying the Buddha existed in universe. Does that mean Christ maybe existed too? Has Buddhism even ever come up again in the Japanese games? Also Gen 4 had that church-like building, what was that even for?
