In the end Pikachu is just a Pokemon like how Miraidon are Zacian are Pokemon. There's nothing actually "special" about Pikachu despite being the franchise mascot, because otherwise people would dismiss it as a shitmon.

It seems all the other Water/Ground Pokemon get something but Whiscash. People always bring up Dragon Dance but... idk, that doesn't seem like it's the win that it should be for Whiscash.
I love this adorable dopey catfish though. One of the more unique ideas for a Ground-type, yet it makes sense on several different levels. I just kinda wish he was HUGE

Prepping one to go for a Tower Master ribbon run has made me come to terms with how bad this thing is. 400 BST with even distribution (aside from low speed) is rough. The best it can do is swing a couple of big dick Swarm boosted Megahorns. I’ll be running it on a Trick Room core with Megahorn, Rage Powder, and some coverage (Sucker Punch, haven’t decided on the final move). Focus Sash as item.

This thing could really use an evolution, but on the off chance it winds up with a mega instead, I think Merciless could be fun with Toxic Thread.
