I know it was "getto daze" in japan; but making everything available ultimately was a huge mistake.

It vastly limited the scope of the world and what pokemon could be!

Sure, but it would remove many unwanted mons lik route one shitters, unown,Luvdisc, etc. They can be mentioned or just be NPCs in the field. No point having them around if that's the case, Stadium taught me that as a kid.

On the other end of the spectrum there should be final bosses or crazy enemies
