I wish they would visit them again in a Legends Kanto or Kanto sequel. It's canon that the Pokemon world has at least advanced a decade since FRLG and certainly HGSS as Red is in his early 20s; so Kanto would be at least 15 years from FRLG. So many places change in just 15 years, I'd love to go back. Did any of the Sevii Isles urbanise? Did they change at all? Did new Pokemon move in? What did they look like in Kanto's history? Were they a penal colony like the real Izu Islands?
They're never gonna answer that, but I've always wondered.
