It's way more likely this thing will just get a regional, but with Annihilape now existing I have renewed hope they might give this thing the "cross-gen evo after almost 30 years" treatment.
>Aggrow
>Fighting/Flying
>Stats: 95/117/90/55/73/93
>This gives it higher Attack and more bulk than Fearow, but it's also slower
>Abilities: Anger Point, Stamina (replaces Keen Eye), Wind Rider (HA)
>Fearow and Spearow both get Anger Point as their third ability (they currently only have two each)
>Gains access to Dual Wingbeat, Hurricane, Reversal, Close Combat, Feint, Payback, Lash Out, Revenge, Final Gambit, Obstruct, Parting Shot, and Beak Blast
>The moves Pursuit, Mirror Move, Laser Focus, Heat Wave, Throat Chop, Tailwind, Double Edge, Curse, and Rage are all added back into the movepool of all 3 stages.
>Sky Attack is brought back as its highest level move and retooled. Now Sky Attack works like Electro Shot: the user boosts Attack +1 on the charging turn and under Tailwind the move acts immediately after charging. In exchange, Sky Attack loses the high crit and high flinch chances. It also drops to 130bp but gains 100% acc.
>Drill Peck also gets buffed: now it has a high crit and high flinch chance, basically taking Sky Attack's old secondary effect
>Still doesn't get Brave Bird because fuck you
>Dex entries for Spearow/Fearow really only mention their stamina, strong flight, and sharp beaks. The aggression is from all other media, but this evolution canonizes that. This Pokemon likes to spend its time high in the sky searching for prey, but if it gets annoyed it "aggros" and relentlessly pursues the target pecking and flapping its powerful wings. Fighting type is due to this new much more aggressive behavior. Also avoids the "crane martial artist" trope despite all the connotations. It's just a big angry ass bird.
