beyond the visual design, its abilities are cute charm and klutz (notably, klutz was unique to the buneary line in gen 4) which i think has sort of tipped the edge, as it were, in terms of having a good deal of cute\joke fan content despite having quite possibly the most obvious coomer design of the whole series
