What if there was a battle format where weak little shitmons got higher level caps? Let's say lvl 100 is still the standard for most Pokemon, but Furret are allowed to be lvl 120, so they have a chance to compete against stronger opponents. Caterpie can be lvl 200. You're perfectly allowed to use powerful Legendaries like Mewtwo, but they can only be perhaps lvl 85.

I think this would be really fun. A metagame where literally ALL 1,000+ can be put on your team, and they all genuinely have a shot at success. (Eviolite would be against the rules of course.)
