All three starters are greatly designed and are useful in combat, the region is varied, the gym leaders are decently challenging, Team Galactic are an ambitious villain team with the best written villain in the franchise, Cynthia is hands-down the best and most difficult Champion and it has the most expansive postgame in the franchise.
