They aren't perfect, but they are the best remakes. Between FRLG's schizo decisions, ORAS cutting shit from base RS despite the great connectivity features, Let's Go being fundamentally a different game, and BDSP's only advantage being how easy it is to mod, the fact that they jammed so much extra shit in while not upsetting the balance of the game too much is impressive. I'd HGSS is probably strongest in the Kanto segment, which was a little under-cooked when GS came out probably due to development issues (it really came down to the wire to actually finish the game in the first place). I would have liked a few extra encounters from Crystal, Phanphy comes to mind immediately as a great reward for exploring early, but the other new early-game additions are a decent compromise.

I coincidentially just watched a Tama video that was recommended to me about her talking about G/S/C and she basically goes through the same exact cope defenses for G/SC.

Not if you okay Crystal on a 3DS. Though then you don't have Stadium 2 unless you copy the save off to a physical cartridge or an emulator.

All of those are also available by trading. You already need to own more than one game and have the ability to trade to get all the Pokemon, and you always have. So if you're trying to complete the dex you already have this. Stadium 2 just offers a way to get them without needing a second Gameboy.

you're not wrong, but also it doesn't make them terrible games either. pokemon fans need to accept that it's ok for a game to have flaws and still like it, that being flawed doesn't automatically make something complete trash to be discarded
