I'm playing through Emerald and I want to clear the Battle Frontier legit, so I want to breed some perfect IV mons. I caught 6 Ditto, one with a single perfect IV stat each. But how am I supposed to breed perfect IVs onto my mon, I think I'm doing it wrong.

>Put perfect HP IV Ditto in daycare with a Bagon
>breed a few eggs until I get a Bagon with perfect HP
>breed the perfect HP Bagon with a perfect Atk Ditto until I get a Bagon with perfect HP+Atk
>breed the HP+Atk Bagon with SpAtk Ditto
>now I have a Bagon with perfect HP, Atk, and SpAtk in the daycare with a perfect Def Ditto
>but can't for the life of me hatch a Bagon with perfect HP/Atk/SpAtk/Def all in one

The first 3 Bagon came pretty fast, but I've been at this for over an hour(with emulator speedup) and can rarely even get 2 perfect IVs on these new Bagon. Am I doing this wrong or something?
