Don't care, literally just nerf both her Special stats by 10-20 points to compensate. This ain't rocket science. It is absolutely unacceptable that Blissey is not a Fairy Type.

also it wouldn't be too strong cause the healing moves nerf did enough
giving the fairy type would be useful but it wouldn't get back to where it used to be in earlier gens

Happiny should def just be Normal. The dex says it doesn't really have the abilities of its evos yet and it just plays pretend. The "egg" is just a rock. Then Chansey should be Normal, and Blissey Normal/Fairy. Blissey just looks way more Fairy-ish and it would be a great way to make Chansey and Blissey stand out more from each other.

It's a goddamn healer who brings happiness AND it even canonically runs away from humans and hides from them just like a fairy would. Chansey's Japanese name is Lucky because it always hides from people so no one ever sees them
