Ok so I recently got a copy of alien resurrection on the ps1 for like £50, and I figured that's joint with metroid prime trilogy as the most valuable game in my physical collection, a nice thing to say "I own that."

I found out my steel book copy of Platinum goes for retarded prices like £200+

Why the fuck are the old games so expensive now, is it just a scalping issue or is it more stupid than that?
