I had no idea Espeed didn't have the +2 priority in gen 4, I thought it was always faster than other priority moves lol.

I literally specifically remember reading the description in a gen 4 game as a kid and thinking "Yes, this move outspeeds all other priority moves". And that is... true, But only in gens 5+

I accidentally stumbled on this when I was going to stare at fan fic council rankings, but this video was in my way, so I clicked on it, and it surprised me. I was like wtf, how did that mach punch outspeed extreme speed. Is it bugged?

So I checked bulbpedo, and sure enough, espeed had its priority buffed in gen 5.
