Marleys are dangerous entities that reside in the lost human civilizations. Their name comes from their striking resemblance to a character of the same name from the Pokémon franchise, who acts as a trainer in the Sinnoh region. The only difference in looks are claws that extend a few inches from her fingers, jagged teeth that have been sharpened down to the molecular level, and, when enraged, glowing white eyes. Additionally, these Marleys do not talk. Instead, they make deep, horrifying roars that could be described as demonic, something that the source character could never replicate. Marleys are usually docile, pacing around aimlessly where they reside, occasionally sniffing. They look annoyed, almost as if something has irritated them. They become agitated at the sight of a wanderer. Despite their sprinting speed being what one would expect out of a relatively fit 15 year old girl, Marleys otherwise possess anomalous physical capabilities. They have endless endurance. They have abnormal strength, as a wanderer had reported a Marley effortlessly moving a car out of her way during a chase in an unspecified suburban area. Their pain tolerance is anomalous as well, as heard in another wanderer report, where a Marley in New Ontario had her legs blown off and her intestines falling out of her, yet aggressively crawling toward the wanderer. However, the Marley expired due to her injuries shortly after. This entity is another reason to avoid unclaimed areas without proper weaponry.
