Shinies should have better stats than normal Pokemon

Somebody once suggested "runt" Pokemon with similar odds to shinies. They would be Pokemon would did not evolve but had the stats of their evolved forms. Some Pokemon would be runt-locked, and all runts would be shiny-locked just to stop people from going insane.

Just add shiny variants. No need for an increased rarity. Just give Pokemon like 4 different types of shiny color schemes, make at least one of them for every species albino, and you're good. All at the same chance, but maybe stuff like the shiny charm doesn't work on some variations or something. Maybe Masuda method helps with some but not with others. Just get weird with it. It wouldn't kill Pokemon to get weird once in awhile.

Honestly I'd keep Shinies as they are but add different colour palettes to most Pokemon and have them equally distributed. And maybe change some Shinies to be more interesting. It'd be neat if Gengar, for example, was available in a variety of different purples but the Shiny (the rare one) was pale/white like the Mega Evo's Shiny.

They don't *want* to make super-speshul shinies for retards like you. They tried it and fucked it in Gen 8 anyway, as everything in the wild got the "rare" effect regardless. But they only went after the sparkle effect, they knew rightly they didn't need to make a 0001%'er on top of adding a chance of squares.
