Final fight is definitely doable even with 10 levels down as long as you have some starts.
On my last playthrough I did the following
>Already have Quagsire and flygon in team
>team around level 40 without too much grind
>Snag metagross and tyranitar
>Get smashed by evice
>Add tyranitar and metagross to the team
>Purify them
>Grind to level 50
>2nd round with Evice
>Spam Earthquake and Rock slide
>Ez game ez life
>credit roll
Braindead but still satisfying

God Colosseum and the like had so much soul. Original plot lines and characters not beholden to the mainline games. Mandatory double battle format. Capturing / stealing your new team members. Pure kino.
I had a vision-dream from an alternate reality where I had the opportunity to work on XD (it was developed by Gamefreak of America in this dimension / timeline) but I turned it down in exchange for a managerial position with AT&T. And every day I regretted not signing up because I could have made my own original trainers + boss battles for the coolest spinoff game in Pokemon history

Orre will return as part of the Mexico inspired region which will be shit because GF will try even less than with Paldea.
It will have only 150 pokemon, mostly from Kanto, cost $80, and it will get a $45 dlc adding in only 400 old mons.

I used to always use exeggcute in gen 2 because he knew leech seed and poison powder, and all it took was a pokemon with fire spin, wrap, or whirlpool to get 3 damage procs every turn. A lot of Gen 1 players only won fights because they were badge boosting without knowing it. People figure out different ways to win.

I played Colosseum for the first time this year and it has to rival Scarlet and Violet for how bad it is. At least the animations are nice.

Colosseum is fucking garbage and anyone who says otherwise haven't actually played it since they were a kid. You fight nothing but shitmons up until Realgam Tower so the reputation for being le hard comes entirely from people getting their ass kicked by a last minute level jump.
Still manages to be better than gen 6+ lol.

Espeon and Umbreon, first Mons you are UUBL and you are fighting mostly UU mons as well.

Kiran was probably the easiest champion right next to Leon in my opinion since I already had a pretty decent team at level 100 for all Pokémon in my party with excellent type coverage. Correct me if I'm wrong.
