New Snap doesn't have Megas. It has a different phenomenon that makes Pokémon glow, some with pretty patterns.

That whole thing of one version focusing in rotations and other in triples that they pulled in Unova was weird to be honest so it's easy to see why these formats had more focus in Gen 6.
