Hey guys. On the translation team for Spike Chunsoft, so I've got some spicy news for you. Take with a grain of salt if you want, I don't give a shit.
In 2026, we're getting a brand new Explorers of Sky remake (Explorers DX).
It's going to be mostly the same, with the only difference being some later evolutions, such as Annihilape and Farigiraf.
Spike Chunsoft has been looking at the fan works and added brand new character episodes based on some of them? Something about Chatot and Wigglytuff exploring a cave for treasure for example.
Shinies are back in the game. Still very limited options.
Destiny Tower is somehow even harder thanks to the larger floors. Good fucking luck to anyone trying to complete it, but this time it ends in an Arceus boss fight.
Items are mostly similar to normal Rescue Team. Somehow IQ is even more broken. You can more easily get the gummis by doing the sentry duty minigame.
Not much else to add. The art style is not as unique as Rescue Team's, but EoS runs at about 30 FPS.
