NovelAI is a paid AI image generator. Users paying $25 a month have "unlimited" Small/Normal generations. Though some actions, such as upscaling, alternate resolutions, and image variation, require credits.
The more art a character has on Danbooru, the better the results, so keep that in mind. NovelAi also released a v3 furry model, so it's also way better at generating (certain) Pokemon.

One I've been messing with a lot lately is Otaiku. It's a phone app that lets you save multiple images, which you can then transfer to your Google photos, etc. The problem is that, unless you're using credits, you have to sit through an ad in-between each use.
Perchance is an online one. On one hand, you can generate up to 12 images at once. On the other hand, the page refreshes every couple of minutes, so you'd need to copy/paste or otherwise save the ones you like as quick as you can before they go away.

The way I see it is start with DALL using a dummy 10 min mail account and test some SFW prompts to get an idea for what works and what doesn’t. Afterwards save some of the prompts you like along side what you wrote for them, move to Civitai to play around with Models.
