I noticed their flaws as soon as Platinum came out and the novelty of “shiny new gen with wi-fi” wore off. It was the first game I didn’t even bother finishing.

Pokemon's in a content drought until we start getting LZA news proper. No one except for housewifefags and mesugakifags care about Horizons until it finally gets to Terapagos lore (assuming that ever actually happens), no one cares about the other Pokemon shows, no one cares about PokeSpe because it nosedived almost immediately after RGB, no one cares about the TCG, no one cares about the merch, and all the other games are either irrelevant or incite genwars and/or wokewars.

I find Platinum to have very satisfying gameplay elements that lead to nice teambuilding like the VS Seeker providing levels and money, the Game Corner for TMs, Undergrounds for fossils and evo items, and Lucky Eggs being way nicer to grind for compared to FRLG. I'll always rank Platinum's campaign highly, I mean if your game doesn't have a Compoundeyes mon that learns Thief I probably won't say it's better than Plat.
