>>56355314Alright, I'll de-anon (and thus be hidden by all of the plugin users; that is, viewers like you!) since that alone is probably enough to explain why
>>56355226 would think such a thought. And now I'll explain such a thought.
>>>Stories with points are more fun for their audiences.<<<"Moral" (which is all I wrote at first) is kinda strong, hence my adding a few compromises to the list, but truly that's the key.
Even if it isn't teaching a lesson, every story should have a single word/term that can broadly summarize "what it's about."
However unconsciously, that's what the reader will remember, because, to paraphrase wisdom: "They'll forget what you said but remember how you made them feel."
For mine:
Waterlogged: Endurance.
Can't Escape: Adaptation.
Trick Candle: Perspective.
Nor Gloom of Night: Values.
Any Port: Dedication.
Diaphanous Perception: Desires.
Drawn Straws: Expectations.
Eternally Vernal: Fatherhood.
Squandered: Cowardice.
Cave: Resignation.
One-way Mirror: Vicarious satisfaction.
Love Lost: Life's second chapters.
Tempus Venit: Fun with material sciences!
Another Gone By: Actualization.
Lap Joints and Adhesive: Rejection/acceptance.
(Unfinished): Regrets.
>>56355180 is a premise, but what's the point?>Isekai because trendyCompletely unnecessary if Mew can implement the Quantum Leap at will.
>mew is an ass shitty agenda interrupts sometimes for fun doesn't care about the MC's because an assholeA character as one-dimensional as this line: —
But then,
>mew had other friends/sisters who would criticize her so she wants to hide her nonsenseDespite the isekai it sounds like Mew is the Author Insert, and MC is a hollow foil to bounce off of.
>bird thingComedy relief? Do they successfully antagonize Mew?
Cipher MC, flat deuteragonist, and a running gag do not a story make. That's premise. A story can use those parts, but they need goals.
Find their motivations, find the theme/message/moral/POINT of their story, and then write that.
