May's, Lana's, Sophocles's, and Kiawa's Dad's live should be on the bottom to. .
Lusamine's Husband was eaten by a wormhole and in the anime he returned, so he should be on the bottom.
Brock's Dad WAS a deadbeat but he took responsibility and returned. so another for the bottom.

you mean pretending to be working 24/7 and saving face, taking a nap at office to pretend you exhausted yourself at work then going for beer with colleagues and stop by the red district on your way home, or pretending to be on a business trip to stay a fiew days at your mistress place to get some peace from the family
it's the younger ones that get pressured on working ungodly hours

Most of them are, yes. The rest have to deal with the still-lingering sexism that pervades Japanese work culture, which is another active deterrent to keep the work environment biased towards the crusty old men enjoying their luxury years before they either get too old to have fun anymore or croak outright.

it's kinda worse, they're pressured into working like everyone else but also marry at 20 by society as a whole otherwise you're a failure at life, there's even a slur for it, and then if you don't have children you betrayed your family and if you have children you betrayed your company

As of late things have been shifting, now women are wrung until they make themselves taller just like men or they mentally regress into infantilism which become consumers of cute products and since women want a provider in their lives they search for men who earn more that them, so men seeing their attempts dates quite literally turn into job interviews, they decide to just marry their 3DS or their home appliances.

That's... well, you'll have to compete with the fact that TV novellas about cheating have been popular for decades now to the point that Japanese women are fine with cheating as long as it's not "emotional cheating" while the husband toils away only to end up drinking until passing out to cope or being forced hang around with the boss to end up drunk anyway to amuse him, also pray that all your co-workers are as hardworking as you, otherwise you might end up being hold back from leaving until everyone's done working and that's a social thing, if you're seen working less even though you work smarter or harder, you're still seen as lazy, which might end up costing your job.

Japan's culture carries an unhealthy dose of hypocrisy and I'd assume that it's relevance on VN's was caused by that, the hardworking dude trying to give his wife or fiancée the live he thinks she deserves while she's bored of a stable life, wanting excitement, justifying sleeping around with anyone who is insistent enough, who gives her the thrill of the chase.
