I do think she's trying to be a celebrity, but I believe she's doing that as a way to legitimize her loser weeb roleplaying dorkiness rather than trying to remove that part of herself since that IS what got her this current success.
To me, making a whole album based on the 7 deadly sins (+ 3 she made up) is the very much playing into that dorky chuuniness and this song tells me that she's going to go full into playing the role that each sin depicts.
To me the Mori in Sinderella is definitely one that's dressed up in the dress that UMG has provided her, but once that clock strikes 12, she's the same she's ever been.
I'm glad that you still love Mori though despite how jaded you've become. The girl has made plenty of mistakes for sure but I think that fans like you and fans like me are very important to her.
