Rarely put out talents. At MOST you'll get a gen every year for every branch, but that's not garunteed. Yagoo literally said they plan for gens 1 year in advance, before they even open auditions, and they won't just "add people just to add them".
>muh males
It's been confirmed that the 4 new males were hired around the same time as the first 4, hence why they're 1 big gen (with no senpai system) and not 2 seperate gens. So they were always planned to come 6 months, after the first, it wasn't something Cover just randomly decided
>Niji's business model
Pump out as many people as quickly as possible, and those who will succeed will succeed (Vox, Salome), and those who "fail" will "fail", and "failures" aren't that much of an issue because
>1
They don't invest a bunch into each talent
>and 2
Even if they "fail" and they want to graduate (ex: Yugo), since they mass produced talents, fans have 20 other people to watch, and there's still a fuck ton more coming. Niji JUST got Soleli, but people forget that there's STILL EN Gamers coming from their audition (and it's gonna be all males), and they opened ANOTHER NORMAL AUDITION after soleli came. So assuming both groups are 6 people minimum then that's 12 new people (all males and all females/a mix again) and that's 30+ ENs. Not to mention the 7 new JPs they just debuted
>tl;dr
Cover doesn't have that because they rarely debut new gens. It's almost been 2 years since the girls had a new gen.
Niji needs it because they want to constantly pump out gens, and it's very clear and obvious that they want their EN branch to be as big as their JP branch as quickly as possible. Cover wants their EN branch (and ID) to remain small, at least smaller than the JP branch
