I assume you saw my ideas. They way I see this going there are 3 possible routes mainly.
1. Exchange various goods including our magical knowledge for sapling magic
2. Resort to giving up our gemtrees (last ditch effort) for sapling magic.
3. Fail to have anything of value and learn new ways of living, mainly as a sapling and being more in tune with nature (will cause her to emotionally break down)
If there are other paths then just say so but as of now this is how I see it going down.
