>>69168512And, as to how they were already doing it: the fact that Elira muscled their way in for all the merch sales, all the sponsorships, all those things? While we can easily see it if we go dig it up, for the accounting stuff they won’t really see anything wrong. They just see this is how much we spent, how much we made.
They never balanced the situation for EN’s folks, probably because this got so blatantly bad may be part of why Pomu left. Or she may have bailed because as stated, they mage have moved to “we need to actually destroy the EN branch” which would also be the death of any hope of improving it.
I’ll also be honest, I think we may have seen the last of the Doki and Niji beef with that Riku announcement, at least for what really matters. We’ll instead see some really weird, stupid, and self destructive behavior from a lot of the talents as some scramble to do what they can, maybe pulling any blackmail or favors they got left to do what they must, and so on so forth. For them they know the job is over, it’s now become an issue of getting out before the legal or business side hits them and they lose their future if there is anything to uncover.
Also side bit, probably Doki recognizes that while it’s gotta come down, it’s gonna inevitably shutter the branch and screw the rest of the innocent talents there, and perhaps even some not so innocent but she rather they get away with it. Probably is why she is so adamant on not taking this to harassing and has been so heavy on keeping it legal only/trying to drop it past the minimum said/done, unfortunately the problem’s gotten too big to ignore so the best she can do is try to magnify the problem on the actual issues. They could’ve gotten away with it probably had they just not blown up her situation so bad, but too late now.
