Taking Snuffy out to the aquarium. We ride the long distance train further up the coast to get there. She is wearing a one piece swim suit under her white sun dress, straw hat and sandles ensemble, lightly showing beneath the fabric. We share a packed lunch when we get there to avoid paying too much for on-site food. I taught myself how to make avocado sushi for her (I'm still eating salami sandwhiches because I could never give up on meat, which she supports.). We visit each of the tanks and marvel at the animals, laughing at some of the goofy, little ones. She has a giggle fit while checking out the cuttle fish. Snuffy and I watch the seal show which brings her particular joy as they belly bounce around in their enclosure. As the day draws to an end we swim with the dolphins. We get a half and half pizza while waiting for the train back home. We both reek of salt and fish on the ride. Snuffy sprawls out in my lap shortly into the trip. I stroke her hair, looking out the window at the scenic view of the mountains and bushland trying to stay awake. We can't afford to end up on the other side of town and miss our stop over. We do anyway
