>>38711425Alright, so first you need to know that besides Vitubia, the physical realm, there is a heavenly/conceptual realm (also called the Vitium Field). This Heavenly Realm (HR) is where the gods are, among other things, and this is where the energy used in all our magic comes from.
Then, we have chuubanite. Think of chuubanite as particles that form a bridge between Vitubia and the HR, and allow the energy to move from one to the other. Chuubanite can also have a certain type/affinity. For example, you might have Mio, Koyori, Lui chuubanite as variants of the /hag/ chuubanite. Good so far?
So, your five places of strongest magick would be sites with high chuubanite. The grand table of divination has high Mio chuubanite, and so on and so forth.
Then, you burn 666 children (kino). Now, the task is to form a logical link between the children you burn in chuubanitic locations in your home, and a reduction in fertility in /meat/. This is where the HR and glyphs come in handy.
Glyphs are basically one way to do complicated magic. Think of them as a programming language. The curse is quite complex, so I think a glyph would be involved at some stage. You could draw it with the blood, or with the ashes, either works as long as you add chuubanite to it.
Action at a distance is possible through the HR, though difficult. So here is a way I would see this working. The curse summarizes the concept of the Matiyotl population, and the glyph instructs the Heavenly Realm to apply the curse to the population that matches this concept. The easiest way for the Heavenly Realm to affect humans is probably through their minds, as divinations, so perhaps it could be a psychological phenomenon that results in a reduction of the people's libido, and some mild psychoactive hormonal manipulation to increase the odds of bearing males.
So, now you've got a curse that works, congratulations! The final task is to basically tune it so that it's compatible with existing lore.
