>>61714798it was admittedly a little tricky to get into because of how it was written, but it was an alright read - i definitely see the influences it had on dracula and other vampire-related media (funnily enough i didn't know this was the progenitor for vampire literature until an anon pointed it out a few weeks ago). i liked characters but i'd have to say that carmilla stood out to me the most, though that might just be my bias for crazy and unhinged women speaking for me. all-in-all though for something that written back in the 1870s i didn't think i'd finish a yuri novel nor get some semblence of enjoyment out of it.
