>It's Shiori's day off, a day which means you won't get to see her.
>You've spent the time trying to distract yourself as best as you could, but naturally you miss her
>In between things you find your mind drifting to thoughts of her, you wonder what she's doing, you wonder if she's okay
>You could easily just text her, you're sure she'd reply, but you don't want to give in, you both agreed to spend the day focusing on yourselves
>When eating dinner, your mind drifts to Shiori. Is she eating well? Did she do her steppies?
>Time passes so slowly it's agonizing, but before you know it it's late into the night, even early morning
>You'd see her tomorrow, or well, today, and you know that as soon as you hear her voice, your heart will be at peace
>But you can't shake the feeling of irritation, the longing, the wanting, if only you could see her face. If only you could hear her voice
>You stand on your balcony, the cool night air washing over you as you stare up at the stars
>You feel relieved knowing that wherever she might be, Shiori could easily look up at the same sky, you feel closer to her
>Heading back inside, you settle into bed, ready to be taken away to dreamland
>It'd be nice if you could meet Shiori in your dream, and it'd be even better if she were dreaming of you
>But before you fall asleep, your self control wavers, you grab your phone and type out a simple message, hitting send before you can regain composure
>Goodnight Shiori, I love you
>You berate yourself, how could you be so weak? It's just one day after all, why can't you just wait?
>But then, your phone lights up and vibrates, you don't even need to check who it is, you look at the message, not even bothering to clear the notification, satisfied and with a smile on your face, you close your eyes and rest
>Goodnight Anon, I love you too
