>>43998972>well a lot of the effects are alleviated if they pretend they are the other gender and people treat them that wayAny proof of this? Tranners seem to suffer when they look in the mirror, because no matter how many people play along, the mirror, the recording, the zoom call imaging, they're always there to remind them. I'm just wondering if this is the answer to their problems. From my limited experience working in a mental hospital, I remember, that schizophrenia patients for example are routinely and strongly reminded that their delusions are not real. This might be completely wrong for trannies, but enabling their delusions doesn't seem to work either unless there is some kind of comprehensive study that can prove it does.
Having to uphold a cognitively dissonant belief is harmful to most people. Being forced to perpetually lie to yourself for fear of nebulous consequences (or even the threat of someone commiting suicide) will eventually erode you. Having people proclaim things that are obviously not true has been a tactic employed by many authoritarian regimes to humiliate and control their population and possible rebellious elements.
At this point I am wondering why I should proclaim things I do not believe? Surely it would be enough if I was just polite enough to not mention a trannoid's unfortunate situation. I'll even be the first to say I'd fuck a cute trap. However to ever insinuate that what I fucked wasn't a man in a skirt, no matter how cute, would be ludicrous.
