There's also the stealth aspect, since (unlike radiators) morinium absorbing heat doesn't emit an infrared heat signature. However, that process would emit a significant conceptual wave emission, which would be easy to monitor. So it'd only be stealthy to less advanced or comprehensive sensor packages.
