>>31640996Yeah, I think it's doable. Only thing is, to do it you must make a pact with the Devil. The Devil of
Spec Bio to figure out how the people mutate into beings. But if you ask me, that's the fun part.
>>31641079That's true, the US did make a lot of money from tariffs as a percentage of their revenue! But something to note here, the USA had no income tax during that period
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e0/Federal_taxes_by_type.pdf/page1-800px-Federal_taxes_by_type.pdf.jpg which is why tariffs were such a large part of their income. Empires tend to have more taxes than State confederations.
I think that checks out, the Imperial navy is basically out of the hands of the shoguns and fully in imperial control, and the Empire levies asks the shogunates for money to pay for it. This would give a ton of political and geopolitical power to the Empire proper, as navies are very important.
Also, I'm not nasfaqdeadbeat either! /morig/ Deadbeat kek.

I think that checks out. Those interference-based artificial concepts would be ephemeral, but as long as you pump enough energy into them I think they could be useful.
