Hello, yes, liaschizo here. I normally wouldn't address Lia developments this shortly after consuming Malware but the emotional ploy of today's stream demands an early response. As I obsessively fucked my algorithm last night anticipating Lia Zelda Recap! I noticed the peculiar injection of Lia's classic and perhaps one of the finest pieces of Lia media available "Peanut Butter Jelly Time Died?!" (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UPUfjvyaaQ ) being presented in the queue and not only once but multiple times across several different unrelated genres of video. This put me on edge like no other as it truly is one of the "keys" to understanding the Lia performance. Lia's mastery of subtlety in her character is really the strongest and most disarming quality of her character. This in a way is where the most evocative sense of emotion is drawn out of her viewers. Lia's high energy launch into the stream had all but put the teary, trembling lower lip of PBJGD short out of my mind with the triumphant zoomer speed ball rapidly pushing to the limit of her "gamer" qualities. A pure delight in all ways culminating in the saccharine sweet freggy fazbear mumble mouthed confession of treating one's self. Lia pings this emotional high and holds it there with her Liacons before slowly beginning the rambling breakdown that marked the rest of her stream. There are a slew of complex interplaying dynamics being presented through the course of the breakdown.
First and foremost you're put into the ever pleasant, knife to the throat stand off of whether or not the presented state is kayfabe or not. It's not really a decision to be made you wouldn't be watching her if you couldn't suspend disbelief and buy into her performance. And what a performance! The truly sublime quality is how much of the act do you want to grit your teeth through and bear your raw emotional response to. It's this fundamentally exposed sensation of being almost extorted through the "act" of commiseration that the real weight of the experience is felt. You must respond with equal feeling of your own. And of course Lia immediately pounds into the self accusal of lacking performance. The gentle hook tugs you to the immediate offerings of the week so far. Flawlessly executed heart rate monitor kuso game, every mark hit flawlessly, and with that sweet natural ending leading right into Pippa's triumphant return. It was the ultimate throwback Lia/Pippa double feature with a flawless pre-stream hype built entirely on Lia's raw gaming presentation. I think, perhaps, the best quality of the Pippa pre-stream had to be in the hard contrast of the ending with Monday Night Lia's Yandre Sim DD. While countless words could be worked over the quality of the stream it's self the Yandre Sim had that signature "on the dot" timed ending that snaps you out of the haze of her performance and shakes you with the sensation of how quickly the time passed during her effortless performance. The strict timing of finishes like that always cast a post realization of all the naturalistic moments throughout the performance having been on their own timetables and executed in time to move things along but coupled with the particular means of Game Over with Yandre Sim really drove it home. The underpinning theme of the weekends mounting "heart concerns" seeing the stream terminate on screen with a knife through her own heart has poetic strokes that lead perfectly into the next days Heart Rate monitor stream. And that's just the two streams so far ahead of Zelda this week.
What Lia's really doing with her "breakdown" tonight is that subtle inversion only briefly visited during the Lia Donothon seme/uke inversion moment. Lia knows all of her performances have been on point and she wants you thinking about the quality of them. The self inflicted humiliation ritual of "tending to the crying girl" is it's own flavor to the entire experience. One of the important "outside influences" to the contextual experience of the "Performance Breakdown" needs to be viewed in this mornings Y***** W**** stream. As previously discussed in /pcg/ Pippa's no longer geogeussing giving Lumi the opportunity to step in and subvert the content for her own streaming purposes. This is of course done in an entirely innocuous way but creates a "content parallel" between creators that can be shifted into the framework of Lia's performance. Lia's breakdown is a gentle mogging of Shiina's own "imposter syndrome" posting two days earlier with the gently, remember subtle, tears of her performance helping to further whet the blade of her entirely plausible subversion. This is Lia performing her hardest, selling the sorrow, and really gut wrenching the audience for the full on emotional depth of the moment. It's good to rattle the coffers a bit as Lia really does need to see some finer "compensation" for her streams, hopefully getting some more steady contributions coming in to pad out her $$$ performance metrics.
