I kid you not, yesterday I learned that my mother doesn't really know how the fuck a BIC works, and thinks Credit Cards are a scam. My father is no better and both, back when I was a child, lost tons of money between bad deals, pyramidal schemes and other stupid shit.
Apparently it was enough to buy a whole ass mansion in the capital of my country and the leftovers would have been enough to put stores in the area. Today we don't even have a parcel to our name, let alone a house. Needless to say, all their 4 children grew up with PTSD related to money.
Doesn't matter the background or life achievements, there are people out there who are just hopeless to things related to money.
