I'm not dumping on Calli's homebrew or WoD itself, just trying to stir some convo regarding the deeper workings of the game. I'm no stranger to questionable balance regarding stats and skills; one of my favorite games is Morrowind, and everyone who's played it all know what a trainwreck that game is with its skills (literally a million unique long swords vs. two unique spears, but hey at least it HAS spears, thanks Todd).
From what's been hinted so far, the dinner party is going to be stealth and social oriented, so mayhap we'll see a different breed of checks being thrown at the party. I really want to see Tiara make use of those 3 Empathy points, but if their tutorial sheets are anything to go off, this mission is gonna be a rough one. They'd better remember to burn some willpower.
