>>30078794Nothing, its just another game in my list of daily games to look at. Not the answer you are looking for? That's because most people probably went into the game not wanting anything out of it. Literally half the fun was the thread AND the broken nature of the game. The thread was active and fun to participate in and read. But the game was not stable in anyway and had constant up and downs that made it existing. When most older players think of the game being fresh their perspective of "fresh player" isn't going to be grinding their way up from nothing it is also going to be the excitement the thread generated. Do you really think you can actually recreate that experience and /quality/? Nasfaq is too stable to ever be able to remake what it once was and the devs are also clearly too busy to be able to make lots of active changes like they used to. In-fact, the existence of the gc means you can never ever recreate similar speed, quality, excitement etc. The thread was the lifeblood of the game and gc kills that so you can never give the game similar amount of life again.
You are trying to fix a retention problem but are looking at it like you can just throw toys at people and suddenly make them care. Those people you are throwing shit at are already satisfied with the game. Satisfied being an important keyword here. How can you engage and retain people who are already satisfied with what they've had and done? Some new funny leaderboards isn't going to make these people ever care and new players will eventually become the same. People will get bored of the gameplay loop and you can't make them interested in it again with some quirky toys that entertain you for like 5 minutes.
