>>29924236I am not calling you out on trying to hide the fact that funds are an incredible money sink, I just brought up the returns report because it was the fastest way to give everyone an easy example to look at
Furthermore, the market deflating should not influence your decision at all, if the market deflates your best move is to sell coins because funds don't, if the market inflates your best play is to buy funds because they also go up, the thing is, as long as the person who is managing the fund has even the smallest idea of how to play the game, coins that go up will get sold and coins that go down will be bought, it's a simple as that, prices are not limited by adjustment, you could say that funds are constantly beating the market, and thus, constantly rising in price regardless of what happens, selling most of your coins will always be the perfect play here
I agree with you, the game and its mechanics had been stagnant for 9 month or more (didn't check), new changes and alternatives are a great thing, however, I would like for all alternatives to have an appeal or be viable in comparison to each other, maybe the best player would be one that mixes all of these alternatives into his play style, who knows? What I do know, is that given how funds currently are in the game, they are indeed the best option, they outperform any chuuba, if you really care about climbing and making money you are actively hurting yourself for not using them, and when it's so easy to profit from them, it makes me really mad, you say that you can see people who didn't adapt to funds in the report, but that doesn't matter to me, just because the majority or some of them are not using it doesn't make the problem I have with them go away
>>29929848That makes more sense, forgot that the males thing happened, and that's even worse too, I hadn't really thought about it, but new funds don't get made that often, do they? This is once again turning into a time played will beat any skill thing, as you say, rich players that have been around since the start of funds could really grow their shares and will constantly make money from them as time goes on, for rising players or future ones they will have to invest in funds that have already grown a lot, heavily limiting their options and profits, it would most likely be quite hard to catch up, making new funds is not an option as, again, like you pointed out, rich players will also buy into these new funds anyway
>>29918058As I said before, I do not know, the one thing I'm sure of is that fund managers/CEO need a huge buff to at least give back some the retarded amounts of money they print, that should give people an incentive to manage funds and not feel like they are getting robbed, as for how to balance people who invest to them, it really escapes me, I don't really have tons of data like some players of this game, just what I can get from F.U.C.K. and some other outdated things I keep around, I also don't really know how stock market works, my best idea would be to look into real funds and how do they work, where they adapted like an exact match to nasfaq? Does that cause problems? And try to take it from there, but I'm no gamedev, I simply point out exploits and things that make me mad
