That being said, I wonder why this believe of "le indie streamer is free hurr durr" is so rampant? In order to manage any type of income you need to start a business. The ideal case is the streamer at the helm, being able to deal with all the backstage work and pulling thru successfully, but with a scene full of college dropouts, e-whores, cliques and all sort of other bullshit you either join a network or find some competent team that deals with that while the person just streams. That's' the reality.
Now imagine being this fuck up, which route would you pick? after running away like a bitch from the exact same thing but with a constant income source.
